Advanced Assembly System for Precision and Efficiency
The components of the cold room are assembled using a male-female eccentric hook system that ensures precise alignment and tight fastening. During the foaming process, a foam rubber gasket is incorporated along the perimeter of each panel, providing a superior seal. This foam rubber material is specifically chosen for its exceptional insulation properties, effectively managing both high-stress surfaces and thermal bridges.
Superior Design for Hygiene and Durability
The corner joint system connecting wall, ceiling, and floor panels features 90° foamed edges. These edges are reinforced with a scratch-resistant, white, galvanised, pre-painted steel sheet. Insulation is achieved using polyurethane foam (PUR) with a density of 50 kg/m³, ensuring robust thermal performance.
To meet stringent hygiene standards, internal junctions are designed with a 15mm radius (R15mm). This eliminates the need for additional PVC profiles, making the surfaces easier to clean and maintain.
Simplified Installation and Enhanced Safety
The junction between edges and ceiling panels is optimised with specialised supports, ensuring both safe assembly and a high-quality finish. Unique PUR corner caps are employed at the intersections of vertical and horizontal edges, as well as floor and ceiling connections, to prevent thermal bridges and maintain energy efficiency.
Fire Safety and Compliance
Boxcold cold rooms are classified with a reaction to fire rating of B – s3, d0, reflecting their compliance with rigorous fire safety standards.
