A new Technical Solution

Boxcold engineers and technicians worked to achieve an innovative technical solution that allows to combine a positive and a negative cold room keeping the structural separation of the two goods storage spaces.

Boxcold’s system features a normal temperature (NT) cold room, which can be configured with or without flooring—a key strength of this design. This NT unit is positioned on top of an independent low temperature (LT) cold room with a floor, available in 10, 12, or 14 cm panel thicknesses (or optionally 8 cm).

This innovative combination is made possible by the use of base and dividing angles alongside a specialised PVC profile installed along the entire perimeter of the NT unit’s wall. This clever design not only maximises space efficiency but also delivers significant cost savings, making it an ideal solution for versatile cold storage needs.
