Cold room with two separated spaces by a fixed dividing wall with operating temp. -20°C/+2°C

Boxcold cold rooms differ for the internal operating temperature: cold room with normal temperature (NT) and cold room with low temperature (LT).

Customisation and Versatility

Boxcold offers cold room panels in various thicknesses to suit diverse applications. Standard options include 6 cm and 8 cm panels, which can be configured with or without flooring, depending on ease of use and cleaning requirements.

For more demanding conditions, panels are available in 10, 12, or 14 cm thicknesses (or 8 cm with the addition of a door heating cable kit). These enhanced thicknesses provide superior temperature retention for sub-zero environments, with flooring being a mandatory feature to ensure stability and optimal performance.

For cold rooms with flooring, Boxcold provides customisation options, such as a flush threshold for seamless access and an external ramp for added convenience. These features make Boxcold cold rooms adaptable, functional, and ideal for a variety of industrial and commercial needs.

NT and LT Cold Rooms

When a customer requires a combination of a normal temperature (NT) cold room and a low temperature (LT) cold room, Boxcold offers a range of technical solutions. One such option is dividing a single cold room into two or more spaces using fixed partition walls.

To implement this solution, certain conditions must be met:

  1. Both cold rooms must either include or exclude flooring—they cannot differ in this aspect.
  2. Both sections must share the same panel thickness.
  3. The internal height of the rooms must be uniform.

These requirements ensure structural integrity and thermal efficiency, allowing for a seamless and reliable design tailored to your needs.
