This advanced configurator enables both sales teams and customers to effortlessly and simultaneously design and generate proposals for one or multiple cold rooms, whether standard or customised. It accommodates various thicknesses and dimensions and includes options for accessories, movable or fixed partition walls, and a wide array of other features and solutions.
Boxcold offers this unique 3D configurator service directly to customers under a dedicated licence. It is available in two versions: a **Professional version** designed for internal use within the company, and a **Lite version**, accessible to customers and distributors via an activation password.
3D Layouts
Boxcold has developed and enhanced a new 3D configuration program that allows you to easily and simultaneously realize projects and offers of one or more cold rooms in different thicknesses and standard or oversized dimensions, complete with additional standard accessories, mobile or fixed dividing walls and further options.
Modifying Properties
This software empowers users to fully customise their cold room to meet their exact preferences. From adjusting the width, depth, and height to modifying three-way walls, incorporating racking, and selecting the ideal refrigeration unit, the system ensures a tailored solution for every need.
How it works
The 3D configurator is an exclusive service provided by Boxcold to its customers under a dedicated licence. It is available in two versions: a Professional version, intended for use by company staff, and a Lite version, accessible to customers and distributors via an activation password.
Customers using the Lite configurator can submit their proposals and projects directly to the Professional version through an online portal. Once the offer is finalised with the end customer, it can be sent to Boxcold’s Sales Department as a purchase confirmation. The Sales Department then converts this into an order confirmation, which is sent back to the customer for validation as formal proof of the final order. Before sending the confirmation, the order undergoes a thorough review to ensure its technical and commercial accuracy.
Upon customer approval of the order confirmation, Boxcold’s Technical Department processes the order, integrating it into the ERP system. From there, it moves into the MRP system, which calculates material requirements and plans the production workflow in detail.
Coldyfor refrigerating units can also be added to your customized project. All prices are constantly updated. The offer can be printed in four languages and it is usually sent in a few minutes.
The customer is trained in the use of the Lite configurator, but always stays in touch with the technical and commercial departments for any doubts, even in the post-sale.

It is a unique service for our customers. You can download the Lite configuration app directly on your pc, by means of an activation password.
